SUMMARY:Basic Education Funding Commission Hearings in Philadelphia
DESCRIPTION:The 15 member Pennsylvania Basic Education Funding Commission will hold two hearings in Philadelphia on Tuesday\, November 18th at 1:00 pm and Wednesday\, November 19th at 10:00 am. \nPrior to the hearing\, PCCY will host a people’s hearing for the public to give real input on what’s needed for our schools.  The event will be held in City Council Chambers on the fourth floor of City Hall at noon.  PCCY will videotape the hearing and deliver it to the Commission. \nCan you come and make sure Commission members know that the residents of this region are depending on them to propose a fair formula that meets the needs of all students?  The location of the first hearing on November 18th will be held at Philadelphia City Hall.  The location of the second hearing on November 19th has yet to be announced. \nClick here to sign up for Tuesday\, November 18th at Noon \nIn the meantime\, click here to send a letter to members of the Commission.
