Children First Board Treasurer, Ira Goldstein, was named a City & State 2025 Impact Honoree for his years of work making Philadelphia healthy, safe, and joyful for children and families.

After South Philly second grade students
were curious about a next-door construction
project, their teacher – a former Children
First staffer – asked the project manager to
come to class. The kids’ many questions led
to an endearing conversation.
