If you live in the Bristol Borough, Chester-Upland, Coatesville, Norristown, Oxford Area, Pottstown, SE Delco, Upper Darby, William Penn, or Philadelphia School Districts, have we got news for you!
We are delighted to invite you to a Parent Summit on Saturday, April 24th from 11am to 2pm that will be hosted by a statewide coalition of organizations that are focused on helping to get additional state funding to school districts that have the fewest resources to meet their students’ needs.
At the summit, you will join hundreds of parents from Pennsylvania in learning about education funding in PA, what is possible in our children’s schools, and how you can join a statewide network of families fighting for the opportunities our children need and deserve.
At the summit, you will:
- Hear from state elected officials who will talk about the importance of more school funding through the “Level Up” supplement
- Interact with parents where you will work together to create a school that best meets the needs of our students
- Participate in collective action by using different advocacy strategies to promote the importance of funding our schools
- Receive a free resource gift box that will be mailed to registrants! (while supplies last).
