Has your family lost Medical Assistance (Medicaid) Health Insurance?

There’s still time to get coverage back. Your children may be eligible for coverage even if you aren’t! Do you need help with the paperwork or re-enrollment process?

Pennsylvania Medical Assistance renewals are happening quickly. If you, your children, or other members of your household have lost coverage through Pennsylvania Medical Assistance, you may actually still be eligible. Know your options for free or low-cost health coverage.

  • If you believe you or your children are still eligible, contact Pennsylvania Medical Assistance by visiting https://www.dhs.pa.gov/Services/Assistance/Pages/Apply-for-Benefits.aspx or calling 1-866-550-4355. You can have your case reconsidered, appeal, or reapply for Pennsylvania Medical Assistance.
  • Even if you don’t think you’re eligible, your children may be. It’s still important to return all forms as soon as possible. The state can reconsider your case if you turn in your paperwork,
even if it’s after the deadline͘
  • If you or your child are no longer eligible for Medicaid, you may be able to enroll your family in a quality low-cost plan through Pennie. Visit https://pennie.com/ or call (844) 844-8040 to get coverage beginning the first of next month.

For additional help, contact the Pennsylvania Health Action Network (PHAN) helpline – call  or text 877-570-3642 or email helpline@pahealthaccess.org.

Lower Travel Costs!  Options are available.

The Mayor’s proposed tax on ride share companies will protect public schools and ensure students have the resources they deserve. If ride share companies choose to pass these costs directly onto riders, there are options for individuals with disabilities to help lower their travel costs.
